Emergency turnovers

Two hours' notice? Call us.

Because Golden Hour is based in Bass Lake rather than driving in from the valley, a same-day answer is often possible. Call and you will know within minutes.

Need an emergency clean?

Emergency cleaning may be available with as little as two hours' notice. Read that sentence the way it is meant: availability is what we are promising to check, not a guarantee that every property can be completely cleaned in two hours.

What a two-hour window can realistically cover depends on availability on the day, the size and condition of the property, its location and the scope of work. A tidy two bedroom cabin that has just been stayed in is a different request from a five bedroom lake house after a large group. We will tell you honestly which one you are asking for, and what we can actually deliver before your guest arrives.

Call rather than filling in a form. Urgent calls come first.

Same day

Starting at$199

Booked today and cleaned before the next arrival. Availability is confirmed on the call.

Within 6 hours

Starting at$249

Within 3 hours

Starting at$329

Tight timing. We check the calendar before we promise anything.

Within 1 hour

Starting at$399

We can begin within the hour. It does not mean a large property will be completely cleaned in one hour.

Emergency pricing represents the minimum starting price for the requested response window, not a flat rate for the property. A one hour window means we can begin within the hour, not that a large property will be completely cleaned within one hour. Emergency services are subject to availability, and emergency pricing does not stack with recurring discounts.

Why people call us in a hurry.

Almost every emergency turnover comes from the same handful of situations, and almost every one of them is a problem of distance. Somebody two hundred miles away has no way to send a person to the door.

  • A guest books for tonight and the property has not been touched
  • Another cleaner cancels on the morning of a turnover
  • A stay runs long and the check-in window collapses
  • A guest leaves a property in a state nobody planned for
  • An owner arrives from out of town and the cabin has been closed for months
  • A plumbing or power problem has just been fixed and the mess is still there

Before you call, have this ready

  • The property address, or at least the street and the nearest town
  • Roughly how many bedrooms and bathrooms
  • What condition you expect to find it in
  • When the next guest arrives, and how firm that time is
  • Anything already agreed about access: lockbox, code, key holder
  • Whether supplies and linens are on site or need bringing

None of it is mandatory. It just means the first two minutes of the call are spent deciding instead of looking things up.

How the two hours actually works.

Two hours is notice, not a promise about the finished job. When you call, three things get settled straight away: whether anyone is free, how long the property realistically needs, and whether the time you have is enough for the standard you want held.

If it is not enough, you will hear that on the call rather than discover it when a guest does. Sometimes the answer is a full turnover. Sometimes it is a priority reset that gets a property safe, clean and presentable for tonight, with the deeper work booked in behind it. Either way you get a real answer, fast, from somebody who is already in Bass Lake.

Emergency and urgent questions.

How quickly can you respond to an emergency turnover?

Because we are based in Bass Lake, rapid response is often possible with as little as two hours' notice. Availability depends on the day, the size and condition of the property, its location and the scope of work, so the honest answer is that we cannot promise it until we have talked. Emergency pricing is based on the response window: same day starts at $199, within six hours at $249, within three hours at $329 and within one hour at $399. Call 559-676-1016 and you will know within minutes whether we can make it work.

Do you serve Airbnb and VRBO properties?

Yes. Short-term rentals of every size are the core of what we do, whether you self-manage, work with a co-host, or use a property manager. We work from whatever checklist, cleaning standard or photo guide you already use, and we are happy to follow a platform-specific staging routine.

Which areas do you serve?

Bass Lake is home base. From there we work Oakhurst, Coarsegold, North Fork, the Yosemite gateway communities and the surrounding mountain communities of Madera County. If a property is a little outside that footprint, ask, because the answer depends on the schedule rather than the map.

Better to have the number before you need it.

If it is urgent, call. If it is not urgent yet, send the property details and we will build the plan before you need it.
